A Soul-rousing Letter for a Patient.
We have healed patients facing Life-threatening, incurable conditions. And among other things, one key component is to get the patient, often disheartened, to rouse up, to fight. To believe, to unlock the body & spirit's amazing capabilities.
There are many ways to do this. But one way is very simply to use words.We wrote to a patient fighting a deadly illness with her Back to The Wall.
And this helped her rally her spirit.
Dearest Sxxxxa,
When we come to the waterfall's edge, the force is greater.
It can drag us down,
or we can use it to catapult us into the world of miracles.Now!! When the docs say they can do no more.
Thank them.
And tell your soul -- what the hell?
Hey Buddha, Hey Jesus, Hey MahaGuru, it's time to show up for me.
Now!!
When you hug your husband, your sis, your children,
let the love you give & receive remind you why your life is so precious.
Tell your cells and ancient Shaktis, feed on this -- power my recovery -- Now!!
When it seems xxxx illness will win,
tell it, "ok you win. I have listened.
You are the results of a Mahabharat in my mind."
So I go to my mind and say enough.
" I embrace my contradictions. I am at peace. Now!!"When it seems you are helpless, tell yourself,
"I may seem to be close to death, but that makes me strong.
My every word has great power."
Tell yourself, "this self has more to give, this family needs me,

and it may seem cruel of us to ask you to believe...
But know the promise of green earth is at your hip,
the cosmic dancer Lord XXXX a at your feet chakra, your family at your heart,

bloodied, but not defeated is at the core...
We are fighting for you with a searing intensity...
We have not tapped till now...

Many Ways to Rouse a Patient:
But rousing a patient doesn't mean, massaging their ego.
Visit The Mall: Part of an extraordinary family, with an extraordinary legacy, a lady was deeply distraught by an illness that literally had her bones crumbling. She could barely walk from the car to our door, a mere 10 feet. As we looked below we saw the death of her spouse a few years ago, a larger than life man had triggered liver, and many metabolic issues. So we searched for something that mattered to her. Because their family had been on a roller coaster, with great success she hadn't the time for herself. What had she wished? Well, she said she wished she and her spouse could have gone to more malls together. What would she have done there? Shopped for designer bags, bought jewellery? Er, no, there was an ice-golla place {a crushed ice lolly place} in a mall that reminded of family joy as a child. Keeping that as a goal, from a woman who could hobble a few feet, we began with intense healing to have her walking more and more, half kilometre, till one day, with her supportive daughter-in-law she went to one of those sprawling malls... She shopped, and tucked into ice golas. And yes, no wheel chair, just a stick in one hand, and a daughter-in-law's hand in the other.
Reawaken Self-worth: A patient felt his life was dimnishing. And so his health was rapidly declining. Our approach involved his loved ones, creating a memorial, that gathered his considerable achievements. Inspired by this the patient took up photography. In his mid 70's travelling across the world. This triggered a dramatic revival. He went on to live for 12 years more.
Give a Goal: A hugely successful man, an ex-government satrap, was facing a degenerative illness that robbed him off dignity, control, and life. Now he was about 77 then, as we looked around at what could motivate him we realised he was deeply committed as a family man. We pointed out that if he could reach 80 his pension would double, something that would make a difference to his spouse, who had sacrificed her career to back his career. That proved to be a decisive trigger. He started pushing, exercising, stimulating his mind. He not only crossed 80, but went past 85. Healing, medication, physiotherapy all helped. But the joy of doubling pension we believe was the real medicine.
Trigger Rage: A patient facing a life-threatening condition was sleep-walking towards his death. So we deliberately riled him up, triggering a bout of rage which was channeled into fuelling a fight for life.
Now yes, as healers, we primarily work with energy. But energy does not mean just holding one's hands out. Energy can be a listening ear, a supportive arm, a spark, an inspiration!
We take this opportunity to thank the many who have inspired us. Patients who have fought the most terrible illnesss. Who kept the faith when all hope died.
We are 'Souls' who have chosen to come to earth, as the earth and her challenges can refine the soul... And so, think beyond prana, ki, think beyond chakra and nadi... Think Soul... Think Soul wondering why should it stay longer... Inspiration HEALS!
